Hubei’s vice governor Chen Ping met with Yu Feng, president of Honeywell China?on March 1, in Wuhan, Hubei’s capital City, talking over further expanding practical cooperation?between?two?sides.
After extending?a warm welcome to Yu and his delegation, Chen expressed her heartfelt thanks to representatives of Honeywell and its supply chain enterprises for their support to?Hubei’s epidemic prevention and control and post-epidemic recovery.
Chen gave a brief introduction of Hubei’s economic and social development and business environment.?She lauded Honeywell’s growing business in Hubei since 2012 when the US-based manufacturing and tech giant started to invest in the province, citing the establishment of its emerging market headquarters and innovation center in Wuhan after pandemic.
It is hoped that Honeywell will give full play to advantages and cooperate with upstream and downstream enterprises in the supply chain to further increase investment and expand cooperation with?Hubei?in aerospace, energy conservation and consumption reduction, building fire protection, bioscience, cold chain logistics and other fields, so as to achieve mutual benefit and?common development, Chen added.
Yu introduced Honeywell's major?businesses, implementation?of investment projects in Hubei and prospects of future cooperation?with Hubei.
