Hubei received 10.91 mln visits during 2023 New Year holiday

　　Hubei had received 10.914 million visits during the just-ended New Year holiday as of 17:00, Jan. 2, 2023.

　　The tourism revenue generated over the holiday reached 6.524 billion yuan, up 10.2 percent from the same period last year.

　　This year’s New Year holiday saw orderly recovery of inter-provincial tours. Many tourists outside Hubei traveled to Wuhan, Yichang, Xiangyang and other cities and prefectures in groups.

　　Short- and medium- distance tours were especially favored by tourists in the province. They inclined to experience suburban tours, leisure tours, countryside tours, skiing and hot springs during the period.(en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
