"I feel very honor and excited to participate in this event, where I have a deeper understanding of Hubei and Wuhan," Guinean Ambassador to China Saramady Touré said at the promotion event held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the hard hit province Hubei during the COVID-19 outbreak, on April 12.
He spoke highly of Hubei for building the Huoshenshan Hospital in 10 days and Leishenshan Hospital in 12 days, controlling the epidemic in a very short time, regaining rapid development after the epidemic, and no report on new local COVID-19 cases for 11 consecutive months. “It is a miracle for the whole world,” he said, adding that Hubei has set a very good example for the countries in the world which are still struggling in the epidemic.
As Guinea's ambassador to China, he presented Guinea as a country rich in mineral resources, and hoped that this promotion event would strengthen the friendly cooperation between Guinea and Hubei. He expected that the capital of Guinea and Wuhan could establish sister-city relationship to jointly develop new cooperation opportunities.
