The Huahu Airport, China’s first cargo-oriented airport in Ezhou, central China's Hubei Province, announced on February 21 that it is scheduled to launch test flights in late March and cargo flights in late November this year.
As the country's first cargo airport, it is functioned as an air cargo hub and a feeder airport for passenger transport at the same time.
At present, 14.2 billion yuan has been invested into the construction of the airport, seeing completion of major buildings and other supporting projects. (en.hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
